Participation Guidelines - Please read before posting.

It is our goal to make Depp Impact a safe, fun place to meet people who share a common interest and facilitate discovery of the work and humanity of Johnny Depp. To that end, it is necessary to have a few rules for participation:

~ Respect is paramount! Demonstrating any kind of disrespect toward Johnny or his family is not permitted. Flaming of other members will not be tolerated. Discussion from different point of views is encouraged but must be respectful toward the point of view and the person presenting it.

~Photos and videos taken by paparazzi are prohibited. Please see our Papps-Free Rules and Guidelines below.

~We welcome people of all ages. Please use discretion when posting comments that may be inappropriate for our youngest members and guests.

~Please use Standard English. Refrain from the use of “text-speak” such as IDK for I don’t know and plz for please.

~We invite Johnny’s admirers from all over the world to join us. Please show patience and kindness to persons who don’t speak English as their first language.

~Do not hotlink photos hosted on other sites or a photobucket account that is not your own. If you want to post a photo, download it to your photobucket account and post it from there.

~Give credit where credit is due. Please name the source from where the photo or information came. If you share information or photos found here elsewhere, please give Depp Impact credit.

~Please limit signatures to 200 x 600 pixels and avatars to 100 x 100 pixels in consideration of members who are using slower internet connections.

Papps-Free Rules and Guidelines

Only photos from legitimate photo shoots, press photos, and personal fan photos are allowed. Please be considerate of the wishes of the owner of personal photos about sharing.

No paparazzi photos, videos or links to paparazzi photos or videos of any kind are permitted on Depp Impact or any sites bearing the Depp Impact name. The line between press and papps photos is often blurred. Therefore, we have developed the following criteria to help you make an informed decision before posting:

Photos taken at an event in which the press has been invited are considered press photos, regardless of the source. This includes events such as premieres, press conferences, and award and presentation ceremonies. If photos of the event are found on a source such as Getty Images or Wireimages, the press was invited.

Any photo taken of Johnny or his family in which he is living his life as a private citizen is not allowed, even if he is in public. This includes photos of him shopping, leaving a restaurant or any other place of business, going to or from work, taking a walk, etc.

Photos taken of Johnny or his family in a private setting are not allowed unless they are from a legitimate photo shoot. Legitimate photo shoots can be found in the Photo Shoot section of the Photo Galleries on the main site for verification.

Photos found on online celebrity gossip websites/blogs (Oh No They Didn’t, Popsugar, Accidental Sexiness, etc.) are usually taken by paparazzi. Take into consideration the original source of the photo when trying to determine if it was taken by paparazzi.

Legitimate news sources do not buy photos from paparazzi or use photos taken by fans.

It is rare for the press to be invited to take photos of a movie while being filmed. Photos taken by fans present on a filming location are allowed.
