Has anybody else checked out the new documentary about The Doors that JD narrated called "When You're Strange"? It's AMAZING.

Johnny + the best band ever =perfection.

Morrison is a god. Johnny a Genius. Thoughts?

:Popcorn: I really want to see this documentary. Jim Morrison and The Doors recorded a lot of great songs, and no one could sing "Light My Fire" the way Jim sang it. Having Johnny doing the narration really makes this one super special documentary. Oh by the way, :Welcome1: to the forum yourbiggest16!

I have been waiting for this to come out, and it came out and i didn't know. Geez. shock1 must live on 'nother planet. Where did you see it yourbiggest16?? Love the Doors.

You haven't missed anything yet firefly. This has been shown at some of the film festivals but that's it so far and Johnny's narration was only included in the last couple shows as far as I know. It's slated to make a theatrical release but no date has been given yet. I'm waiting on this one too.

Oh, it's actually coming out in theatres? I wasn't aware of that, for some reason I thought it was something like a TV special. In that case I can't wait! I've loved The Doors for years.

Yes, it is currently scheduled to have a theatrical release. I'm not sure what's holding it up. :eh ?:
